The rooftop scenes for fictional 翔陽大学附属北部病院 in Fuji TV’s 2008 コード・ブルー were filmed at 千葉市立青葉病院 (Chiba City Aoba Hospital). The location record separates this rooftop from the main Shoyo Hospital exterior at Nippon Medical School Chiba Hokusoh Hospital, making the fictional hospital a composite of real sites.
Episode 2, broadcast on 10 July 2008, specifically uses the Aoba Hospital rooftop for a conversation between Kosaku Aizawa and Megumi Shiraishi. This is useful pilgrimage context because it prevents visitors from incorrectly looking for that rooftop at the Inzai hospital used for the principal exterior.
