Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha | Yoon's Dental Clinic, Cheongha — Now Serving Lunch

A Seoul dentist opens a practice in a village that does not especially want one, in a building with the sea filling every window. Yoon Hye-jin's clinic was the most coveted set in the drama for one reason: the view out of it.

The building is on Haean-ro in Cheongha-myeon, and it now trades as Yoon's Restaurant — a café and restaurant that kept the clinic fit-out. The reception desk is still a reception desk. Visitors check in under a sign reading Yoon Dental Clinic and then order pork cutlet and a coffee at it.

This is the healthiest possible outcome for a filming location. Nobody is charging admission to look at a doorway; a local business took the set, made it functional, and now sells lunch to the people who came for the photograph. Open roughly eleven to seven. The terrace side is open to the sea breeze and is where you want to sit.

Pair it with the Cheongha market a few minutes inland — the two are the anchors of the northern half of the Gongjin circuit — and note that everything in this drama is genuinely spread out. Guryongpo is well over an hour further south.

Order something and sit facing the window. The joke of the original scene is that Hye-jin has traded a Gangnam practice for a room where nobody comes and the view is better than anything money buys in Seoul, and that is still exactly what the room does to you.
