Itaewon Class|Baekbeom Plaza, Namsan — The Path Where the Kiss Caught the Tower

Baekbeom Plaza sits on the Namsan slope above Hoehyeon, a grass square and a statue of Kim Gu with the fortress wall and N Seoul Tower stacked behind them. VisitSeoul gives the address as 49-4 Toegye-ro 8-gil. The park is open year round. Itaewon Class filmed the Saeroyi and Yi-seo kiss on the road between the Sungnyemun-side entrance of Namsan Park and this plaza. The tower is not a backdrop they added in post. It is the mountain's own marker. Fall turns the square red and gold. Night turns the tower into the same pin the overpass already framed from below. Walk up from Hoehyeon Station Exit 4. The grade is real. When you reach the grass, turn and take the line from the statue to the tower. That is the shot the drama kept. The plaza does not sell the scene. It only holds the mountain still long enough for two people to stop walking.
