Most of the film's casino floor is this building. The production shot the bulk of its Las Vegas gambling scenes at Planet Hollywood, 3667 South Las Vegas Boulevard, including the chase that ends the team's good run, and the timing was lucky: the resort had opened under that name in April 2007, rebuilt out of the old Aladdin, so the film caught a brand-new interior in its first year.

What the camera uses is the geometry rather than the glamour. A blackjack pit is a set of small islands with sight lines between them, and the whole con depends on those sight lines — a spotter at one table scratching an eyebrow, a big player drifting over from another, a pit boss reading the room from a raised position that lets him see everything and nothing. Stand at the rail on the Strip side and you can watch it happen for real, minus the conspiracy.

The security offices upstairs are the part you will never see. That asymmetry is the honest lesson of the movie: on this floor, you are the only person in the building who does not know how closely you are being watched.
