Juniper's 5th birthday party bonanza!

Juniper, today we celebrated your 5th birthday party. I told Mami afterward that I gave the party a 10/10 -- fantastic food, great people, useful parting gifts, awesome location, delicious cake, and such a fun time with the piñata.

We had such a great setup that random kids starting joining in. There was a kid who pretended to be lost in order to get in on some cake. There were random kids that joined the piñata line in order to take a swing.

On that note, the piñata was my favorite part. Do you remember that in the beginning you felt a bit "shy" to hit the piñata? It's ok to feel shy. Sometimes we feel shy; sometimes we feel brave. You can always take a deep breath, calm your feelings down, accept them of course, then choose your next action.

In this case, you made a great choice! You told me you felt a bit shy, so we decided to take the first swing together. And it worked out -- later on, you took plenty of swings independently. 

Also, if you look at the pictures, there are some of me protecting children from getting hit with the bat 😆.

Mis niñas, acuerdense, las hermanos siempre unidas. Van a ver epocas cuando se peleán por que tienen diferente opiniones or ideas. Y eso es normal y esta bien.
