Work Done To Make Sure People Could Relax And Have Fun At Night Out In Downtown Austin

This was right after the Fourth of July.  Due to Holiday schedules and travels, we had to work extra hard to get the word out about this Downtown Austin location being open so that people knew we were open on the Sunday night since 4th of July this year was on a Friday. The work had to be done beyond just normal social media, so it included the following marketing techniques to promote a regular night when there wasn't a big act coming to perform music:

• Micro-posts on Google Business (Maps) mentioning our being open
• New SEO methods to help rank for keywords which included the words "tonight" and each day of the week (including "Sunday"). This included posts on 3rd party blogs such as "nightlife on 6th Street on a Sunday night"
• Promoting in new Austin-specific forums to emphasize already-existing merchandise incentives 
• Some, but not too much, geo-fencing of ads to reach those who were in Austin area hotels that weekend
• Tier 2 link building to boost in the search engines existing profiles on well-known sites like Yelp, TripAdvisor, etc.
• Attempts to get more referral traffic from within YouTube around existing Austin videos on topics like live music, nightlife, etc. 

We wanted to make it super easy for people to find out about us so that they sing, dance, relax, laugh and have a good time listening to live music playing their favorite songs. 

In all, with limited team and time, we did okay and picked up several additional guests to the show who otherwise likely wouldn't have found us had we not done the above efforts. Hopefully the people in the photo had as good a time with us as they did a couple of nights earlier celebrating the 4th of July!
