新北市通往台北重要交通要到「台北橋」塞成機車海。經交通局調查，是台北端號誌疑似故障，原有120秒綠燈，卻變成30秒綠燈，造成交通壅塞，並在事發後不久修復。 這是台灣與世界獨步車種分流，台灣的交通環境不知何時才會改善。
The Taipei Bridge, a vital traffic artery leading from New Taipei City to Taipei, was jammed with a sea of scooters. The transportation bureau's investigation suggested that a suspected signal malfunction at the Taipei end of the bridge was to blame, with the green light phase shortened from 120 seconds to just 30 seconds, causing significant congestion. The issue was swiftly rectified shortly after it occurred. This incident underscores Taiwan's unique vehicular flow segregation from the rest of the world, casting uncertainty on when traffic conditions in Taiwan might see improvement.
