My wife Patti and daughter Abigail and I packed up the car and drove to Nashville to move Abigail into her freshman dorm at Lipscomb University. On the weekend we met her roommate and her parents, did some shopping, had dinner together at Acme Feed and Seed on Broadway. Monday was move in day. We all worked on lofting the beds and setting up the dorm room then my daughter drove us to our hotel near the airport and we said our bittersweet goodbyes. The next morning we flew away (me to DC for a conference and my wife home to Massachusetts) while our daughter began quest week and the start of her college experience.
