First Eastern Championship Wrestling Show At The Chestnut Cabaret In Philadelphia, PA

On July 15, 1992 Eastern Championship Wrestling (ECW) ran its first show at the Chestnut Cabaret at 38th & Ludlow Streets in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This was the third venue in the company's history with the Original Sports Bar and Tabor Community Youth Center being the other two venues.
The opening match was: Hurricane Curry defeated The Anchor.
The main event was: ECW Champ Jimmy Snuka defeated Mr. Sandman.
