Eastern Championship Wrestling (ECW) Debut At The Aztec Club in Philadelphia PA

On September 12, 1992 Eastern Championship Wrestling (ECW) ran its first show at the Aztec Club in Philadelphia, PA. The opening match, for the ECW heavyweight championship, had Jimmy Snuka vs Super Destroyer #1 (w/ Hunter Q Robbins III as his manager) in a falls-count-anywhere match. Snuka won the match by pinning Super Destroyer #1 in the swimming pool at the venue.
Bob Artese was the ring announcer and John Finegan was the referee.
