Dandyhorse San Francisco Bike Tour

One of the best ways to know a new place, is through a bike tour. I learned that on my trip do San Francisco on 2019, which was intented to be a business trip only, but this time, I decided to make it different and create some memories. I Looked for an experience on AirBnB and found Nick, the owner of Dandyhorse Bike Tour, with great evaluation rates. On that cold Saturday I walked from Mina Hostel, at San Francisco Downtown, to Nick's place. He was very warm and kind receiving me and 2 moms and 4 kids, that went all together on that trip. Nick taught us how to use the bikes, how to behave on the city traffic, how to move and stop, how to park, and how to attend to his signs as our guide. Smoothly we went through several places, until we reach the Golden Gate Park, where the tour officially ends. We met Dandelion Chocolate Store, Dinosaurs Vietnamese Sandwich and Cinderela Russiona Bakery, besides all the great views of Victoria houses along the way.

Arriving at the Golden Gate park, the group decided to extend the tour, renting the bikes for the rest of the day, but moving forward on our own, using a map, yes a paper MAP, no GPS!  From a customer, at that point I became the leader of the expedition, helping the 2 moms and theirs kids to enjoy the ride, going through a complete round robin tour, starting at Golden Gate Park, going to THE Golden Gate Bridge, and then through the piers from north to south completelly, until we reached Nick's bike shop again.

This was a day full of joy and contentment! Lots of physical exercise, but just did not feel tired at all.

From that day on, I decided, Bike tour will be my choice to visit new places!
