On this Blox lies Pretoria Boys High School. This is where Elon Musk, the Existential Innovator finished his High School.
Below is a manuscript snippet from Yu-kai Chou's 10,000 Hours of Play:
"After living with his mother for two years, our OP Hero made the challenging decision to reside with his father, an austere engineer whom he maintained a tumultuous relationship with. While this new environment was financially stable, his home morphed into a turbulent battleground plagued with daily tension and “psychological abuses.”
Despite the trials and tribulations, his engineering father’s home gave him the right environment to further enhance his Skills.
In this new environment, our OP Hero procured his first computer at the ripe age of 10 - a Commodore VIC-20. Bereft of playmates to share in outdoor adventures, he dedicated countless hours to his new digital companion. His powerful learning-centric Attributes (Step 2) mentioned above served as a springboard, enabling him to acquire and cultivate new Skills (Step 4). He diligently taught himself programming in BASIC (Software Engineering Skills), honed in on his Scientific Problem-Solving Skill, and enhanced his Knowledge Application Skill.
In a span of just two years, our twelve-years-old OP Hero completed his inaugural business Quest (Step 5). He crafted a video game christened "Blastar" - a space-themed adventure where players navigated a spaceship to defeat an alien freighter. He then sold Blastar for $500 in 1984 ($1400 in 2023 dollars) - an impressive achievement for a child his age.
Furthermore, it was clear that his father wanted to pass down many Skills to his children. Both our OP Hero and his brother were required to go to their father’s engineering work sites to learn how to lay bricks, install plumbing, fit downdows, and put in electrical wiring. This equipped our OP Hero with foundational Physics and Engineering Abilities that became quite crucial later on.
However, our OP Hero felt the emotional relationship with his father was causing too much suffering and wanted to leave. He noticed that in the novels and comic books he read, all the important events for humanity happened in the United States of America, so he made a determination to move there if possible."
