There is very little known about the Continental Baseball League's 2010, and final, exhibition event of the Home Run Derby and All-Star Game. Records are spotty, so the best guess is that the Home Run Derby took place on the same day as the All-Star Game on July 6, 2010. Confirmation from the Wayback/Archive of the Big Bend Cowboys team website here.
The Derby was won by Mike Dale (Mike Olsen) of the road team (travel team) Desert Valley Mountain Lions. He provided the shared photos for historical purposes.
The events took place at Kokernot Field in Alpine, Texas.
The league's last year had four teams: Big Bend Cowboys (host team based in Alpine), Coastal Kingfish, Desert Valley Mountain Lions, and the Las Cruces Vaqueros.
