Reviving An Old Website And The Changes Needed

Years ago I helped a friend unravel a mess of a website/hosting situation and reclaim a domain & website which was in limbo.  After that was done the website was built.

Fast forward over half a decade later, and the website needed upgrading plus the local SEO off-website signals needed to be modified due to the fact that the hair salon moved locations.  It currently is at the Atrium Salon:  2107 Eldorado Pkwy, Suite s, McKinney, TX 75070

Some of the local lead generation capabilities changed in those years as well.  She is handling Facebook and TikTok and Instagram, but using images on sites like Pinterest are still pending. However, there was no community-building effort to boost exposure on local-oriented sites like Nextdoor, Neighbors, and even Patch.  She has promoted several hair stylist and coloring-specific services like Balayage and Ombre for McKinney and the nearby cities like Fairview, Allen, Melissa, Anna, Princeton, and Prosper. 

Over time there will be more done with images including posting on the sites which get indexed and appear in Google Images + possible array of client-permitted images in a metaverse where prospective clients can "test out" hair styles & colors.  This last feature is down the road, but it is a differentiator versus virtually every other hair stylist in the region and in most areas of the country. We are still discussing ways to use Augmented Reality to help boost exposure locally, so that will come later in order to attract more tech-savvy and younger generation clients.
