Revisiting Genting Highlands After Two Decades

After more than 20 years, I returned to Genting Highlands, this time with Arief and Chee Keong. The transformation was astonishing, with a massive indoor theme park called Skytropolis being a major highlight. The vibrant lights, lively atmosphere, and the joyful buzz of visitors made it clear why this spot is so popular among Malaysians and residents of Kuala Lumpur.
The theme park attracts a mix of young people and families, creating a dynamic and festive environment. It was nostalgic to walk around, reminiscing about the Genting Highlands of the past while marveling at its modern evolution.
The evening was made even better with the stunning view of live performances and the glowing lights that illuminated the area. It was a memorable trip, combining old memories with new experiences in a place that continues to thrive as a popular destination.
