If This Little Church Could Talk...

The Philipsburg Methodist church on the island of Sint Maarten is 170 years old. This little church has been witness to many important milestones in my life. That's why it's dear to my heart. It's where my wedding ceremony took place, with family and friends in attendance. And where I said goodbye to my mom earlier that same year. It's where we baptized our sons amid family, friends and church congregation. We celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and family reunions there. Can you love a building? I think I love what it represents. I wish I had the words to explain what that is.
