Lost in the timeless beauty of Tenryu-ji today. My stroll started at Sogenchi Teien, a 700-year-old Zen garden that feels like a living painting, where the mountains are "borrowed" to frame the serene pond. Walking through its stillness, I felt completely centered.
Then, I wandered over to the Garden of Hundred Flowers, where the atmosphere shifted into a vibrant explosion of color. With winding paths and an endless variety of seasonal blooms, it was such a beautiful, lively contrast to the quiet zen of the main pond. It’s rare to find two such different ways to appreciate nature in one single, perfect place
