Time As A Filter

Training in the morning tends to serve as a filter for the types of people we get coming to class. Fortunately those types of people tend to be awesome.

We've had both young and old, physically gifted people as well as those that would have trouble walking and chewing gum at the same time. Men, women, you name it they've come to the doors over the last 7 years, but one thing is constant: those who stay and continue their journey tend to be pretty amazing humans with interesting stories to tell.

Community Through Adversity

It's an interesting dichotomy that happens with the bonds that are forged between people who stay in that during class were grappling, and fighting, and struggling, and practicing violence on each other, but through that practice - we get closer. 

Although it's voluntary, the adversity we experience, each in their own way, is shared and perhaps that is the commonality allowing such dissimilar people to get along so well?
