Starting my morning at Cafe COYOTE in Kyoto was easily one of the highlights of my trip. It’s such a unique space, known for exclusively serving high-quality specialty coffee directly imported from El Salvador—the owner himself actually spent years living and working on coffee farms there.

I ordered their featured Pacamara coffee, which was fantastic, and paired it with their signature egg sando for breakfast. The coffee felt deeply personal, almost like I was tasting the care and connection they have with their partner farmers, while the egg sando was the perfect, comforting accompaniment to a slow morning start.

Sitting there, enjoying that rich coffee and fresh breakfast, I really felt the "seed to cup" journey they’re so passionate about. It’s more than just a café; it’s a beautiful, authentic bridge between the coffee lands of Central America and the quiet, morning charm of Kyoto.
