I had the opportunity to learn more about my own car engine's nuances from a guy I met at a Fort Worth self serve car wash than I learned even from my longtime auto mechanic. After I dried the car after the car wash, I decided to check under the hood due to a noise I heard for the first time on the drive. One guy who was washing his truck asked if I needed help and I told him it was a noise I hadn't heard yet. He gave me some really helpful tips and said it likely is a repair that only may cost about $10 to $20 in parts and about 15 minutes of time. He even gave me some resources on where to get more information on how to do low cost repairs for the most likely things I may experience for my car's year and mileage. He was a really cool guy and it made going to the car wash that day - something I wasn't planning on doing originally - worth every minute. Glad to know that there are some good people still out there!
